Gerry Corcoran grew up backstage, his Father was a singer, so it was no surprise that he ended up working backstage in many different roles including Lighting, Sound, Rigging & Stage Management. Concentrating on Lighting & Rigging for the past 20 years he has worked for many theatre companies in his native Scotland before moving to Australia in 2005. In 2006 he started stage lighting work in the Bega Valley and formed GCLX in 2008.
With a varied background of theatrical experience including small & large scale theatre, tutoring at a drama college and as a sales rep designing, specifying & supervising theatrical installations of lighting systems and stage curtain tracks & drapes, GCLX can offer a range of services whatever your requirements from design or upgrade of performance spaces through to regular maintenance, repair and supply of consumables.

Eden Marine High School - Supply & Installation of new lighting system including Dimmers, Patch, Control, DMX Distribution, Truss & Lanterns. Plus a second install of LED lighting.

Club Sapphire, Merimbula - Supply & Operation of lighting for visiting shows including Pete Murray, Baby Animals, Dragon, Thirsty Merc, 1927, Psuedo Echo, Dallas Frasca, Ash Grunweald, Rhonda Burchmore, Spy v Spy, Busby Marou, Beautiful Girls, Tom Burlinson and more.
GCLX also specified, supplied & installed the Stage Lighting Control, Moving Heads & LED Parcans.

Four Winds Festival, Bermagui - Production Lighting for the festival (2022 & 2021) including performances of The Spiritual Forest (2022), The Iliad Out Loud (2021), Side Show Alley (2018), An Evening of Flamenco (2010) & Band of Brothers (2012).
